Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of the Mines Inspector Group Post. A total of 55 vacancies are available for the posts of Mines Inspector. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online on its Official Website within the last date.

Important Dates

Starting date of online application for UPPSC Mines Inspector Recruitment is 4 June 2022. Candidates can apply online on its official website uppsc.up.nic.in on or before 04 July 2022. The last application fee payment is 1 July 2022. Exam date and admit card released date will be updated later.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who apply for vacancies announced under UPPSC Recruitment 2022 must fulfil the specific eligibility criteria.

The Age limit for UPPSC Mines Inspector Recruitment 2022 is, Minimum Age- 21 Years, Maximum Age- 41 Years.

Educational Qualification

Three years Diploma in Mining Engineering from an Institution recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

UPPSC Mines Inspector Examination Pattern

There will be a preliminary exam, followed by Mains Exam.

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

The Preliminary exam would be of two hours duration.
Each question would be of two marks and the total marks in the exam would be 300.

2. Mains Examination

The Mains exam would be of three hours duration.
The total number of questions will be 8. It is compulsory to attempt 5 questions.
Each question will carry equal marks and will be of 40 Marks. Total marks will be 200.
The question paper for Mains Examination will be divided into two parts – Section ‘A’ & Section ‘B’. Question No. 1 will be compulsory & it will also be compulsory to attempt 2 questions for one each section.
