  • HTML was created by Berners-Lee in late 1991 but was not officially released.
  • HTML 1.0 was released in 1993. However, not many developers were creating websites at that time.
  • Currently, we are using  HTML 5.0.
  • HTML is the most widely used language on the web to develop web pages.
  • HTML is not a programming language
  • Using just HTML, we can create a static website.
